virtual and in-person meetings September 2021

Food|Comida|Rawl 317 virtually gathered affinity groups earlier this year to learn more about the challenges, successes and connections between food system actors and businesses in Indianapolis. We had more than 213 responses from 116 businesses and organizations answer our pre-meeting survey.

Affinity groups included representatives from organizations, businesses and public offices from food system sectors: food production, coordination, markets, buyers, community, technical service and cross-sector groups. Eighteen (18) meetings with 88 participants from 59 entities engaged in discussions together. 

Now we are ready to bring the information we collected from the focus groups in addition to the household feedback from more than 800 Indianapolis residents and the results from an on-the-ground assessment of the retail grocery environment, to share what we learned. Join us for our second round of sharing and listening sessions in September 2021.
